Accountability System Awards
Awards are provided to schools
on either or both excellence in student achievement and progress on
student achievement and may include recognition, flexibility/autonomy, and
financial awards subject to appropriation by the Georgia General Assembly.
Criteria were developed comparing the most recent two years of Criterion Referenced
Competency Test (CRCT) (grades 1-8 in reading, English/language arts, math,
social studies, and science) and/or the Georgia High School Graduation Test
(grade 11 first time test takers - English/language arts, math, science, and
social studies). Criteria were based on Full Academic Year (FAY) students.
